Injections for OAB

Injections for overactive bladder syndrome

Medicines are injected directly into the bladder wall under local or general anaesthetic via a cystoscope passed through the urethra. Around 20 small injections are given and the process can be repeated once the effects have worn off, usually between 9 to 12 months. You will need a referral to an Urologist or Gynaecologist for this procedure.
